Athletics Carnival
Under blue skies it was wonderful to have the full school community back together last Tuesday for a day of competition and community spirit at the Senior School Athletics Carnival.
Six school records were broken and it was encouraging to see a large increase in student participation this year. Year 12 brought colour and comedy to the day, with many wonderful and varied dress-ups on display.
Well done to all our competitors who gave it their best, displaying terrific sportsmanship and upholding the Inaburra values across all aspects of the day.

NSW Schools Futsal
Congratulations to our Under 16 Girls Futsal team who competed at the Regional Championships in early May. The girls have qualified through to the state finals later in the year.
CSSA Cross Country
Thirty seven secondary school students have qualified to represent Inaburra at the CSSA State Cross Country Championships to be held on Friday 27 March. We wish them all the best.
CIS Hockey
Well done to Lachlan Todd and Tomas McCowen who played for the CSSA representative team at the CIS Hockey Championships on Thursday 19 March. Unfortunately Year 12 student Kian Johnson was injured and had to withdraw from the tournament. Inaburra Year 8 student Jack Margetson also umpired at the tournament. Jack has been selected to attend the PSSA Championships later in the year.
CIS Open Basketball Trials
Special mention to Bailey Macarthur (Year 9) who attended the CIS Open Boys Basketball trials on Monday 9 May. Although Bailey was unsuccessful in 2022, I am sure it is only a matter of time before Bailey is selected in the CIS team. Bailey is an exceptional talent who recently was selected in the Under 16 NSW team.
CIS Netball
Congratulations to Chloe Barrett (Year 9) who last week was selected by CSSA to attend the CIS netball trials. Chloe represented the school with distinction and will lead our Under 15 team at the CSSA State Netball Gala day in week 7.
