On Thursday, 5th November, the Junior School Debating Teams participated in the annual IPSHA Gala Day Debating Competition at St Peter's Anglican School, Campbelltown.

Our first team debated the topic, Sharks Should Be Removed From Our Waters and took the Negative Side.

Our second team debated the topic, The Internet is Better than Books and took the Affirmative Side.

The third team debated the topic, Sharks Should Be Removed From Our Waters and took the Affirmative Side.

Our first two teams won their debates. Our third team was narrowly defeated.

“For all the debaters, it was a new experience. It was something that we had never done before. We were very nervous, as we were at a new school. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had at school,” said Jessica Rixon,, member of the second team.
