SSCS Bus Accident

The recent accident on Heathcote Road is a tragedy for a Sydney family and is traumatic for the local Sutherland Shire Christian School community. The prayers and support of the Inaburra Community are with our friends at SSCS.
We are thankful that we can offer our school counsellor, Mrs. Wyles, to assist SSCS as they help children who need counselling. Some students were not only injured themselves, but witnessed a very frightening scene.
On the Sutherland Shire Christian School website they note that God is a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46). We note the strength of their community at this time and pray with them, both for the family of the driver and passenger of the car, and for all who have been affected.
We also praise the bus driver on her courage and effective action. We share the same bus company and are thankful for the work they do each day in transporting our students safely to and from school.
