Congratulations to the Inaburra Open Rugby League 7s side which earned the title of CSA State Champions this week.
After early victories against St George Christian School and Sutherland Shire Christian School, Inaburra played at the higher 'Cup' level of the competition. Inaburra remained undefeated in this round until the last game when they were comprehensively outplayed by CCHS, going down 20-0.
The boys were worried when they came up against CCHS again in the semi-final draw, but they gathered together as a team and played 'out of their skins' to beat a much bigger side 10-6. In the final, co-captain Gene Dubois forced his way across the line after the bell to achieve an outstanding victory and to become CSA State Champions.
