First XI into Final

Inaburra First XI Cricket Team won a tight semi-final against Greenpoint Christian College in a match played yesterday on the Central Coast of NSW. The win was all the more meritorious because the boys won without NSW All-Schools player, Ryan Almond, in the team. Ryan is currently representing NSW in the Australian Schoolboys' Championships in Victoria.
It turned out to be a very low-scoring affair. Inaburra were worried to be bowled out for only 88. The pitch was lively and the outfield was slow. A few Greenpoint wickets fell in the first few overs and the opposition made only 65 runs in reply.
Inaburra will now play William Carey in the finals on Wednesday, 18th March at Tonkin Oval Cronulla.
