Along with some great action in the pool, the new Challenge Events proved a hit, with both Yr 7 and Yr 12 setting the standard with the passion and pride in their Year team.

Challenge events included Bocce, Word Whiz, 3 legged races in the pool and a 6x 50m freestyle relay – which brought the crowd to its feet with a neck and neck tussle between Yr 8 and Yr 11. There was something for everyone.

Thanks to both staff and students for their tremendous attitude and enthusiasm brought to the carnival, it made for a great day. A big thanks goes to the Yr 9 PASS students who held important officials duties on the day, and also on the Jnr School Carnival. Your involvement contributed greatly to the smooth running of the day – Thank you

Over 50 Swimmers will represent the Burra at the CSSA Sth Met Zone on Wednesday the 25th of February at Sutherland Leisure Centre.

Permission notes, event listings and Carnival programs have been handed to students.

Any questions, please feel free to contact Mr Dixon.

Looking forward to seeing you at the pool.
