Senior Philosophy and Theology Forum
This year Inaburra will launch the Senior Philosophy and Theology Forum. This program operates on the presupposition that students can gain a great deal from thinking about the big questions of life. Christian faith need not fear scientific discovery or philosophical thinking, but it must engage honestly with it.
Senior students at Inaburra will benefit from being engaged in a program that allows them to hear from people who have really thought about the relationship between being a Christian and living in a world that straddles post-modern, modern, and a variety of political ways of thinking. Forum speakers will seek to examine questions of ethics as well as those related to faith and culture. These forums will be available to teachers, parents and students and will run after lunch on Tuesday afternoons (from 1.10). The exceptions are those led by John Dickson.
We would like to invite interested Inaburra parents and friends and members of the local community to join us at these forums. There is no cost.
Parents who would like to attend a day forum should sign in at Reception and walk down to the Media Centre. Please be seated by 1.00pm.
The evening forum commences at 7.15pm. The Sunday Morning Forum is part of the Menai Baptist Church 9.30am service.
