Inaburra School

Inaburra School

Principal

I am delighted to introduce you to Inaburra School.  At Inaburra we are committed to the development of excellence in all areas of school life.  We believe that the best education is achieved when the whole person is considered.

We are confident that Inaburra provides both support and challenge in our classrooms.  We share the practice, as professional educators, of reflecting on student learning to continually improve our classes and facilities.  We have high expectations of ourselves and of our students.

As a Christian school we have a deep sense of serving God together and expect each child to contribute to the life of the school and the well-being of those within the Inaburra family.  Our students take part in a home group pastoral support program, where they have the opportunity to develop positive relationships with their peers and their home group teacher.

We invite you to come and experience for yourself the life and ethos of Inaburra School.

Prior to becoming principal of Inaburra School, Dr. Paul Burgis has worked at St. Martin’s College, University of Cumbria as Principal Lecturer in Education. He has worked also in senior positions in schools in Sydney (including Inaburra), Zimbabwe and southern Queensland. His research for his Ph.D. (UNSW) covered the subject of global education in three nations: Australia, The Philippines and Zimbabwe.
